Endgame is a lie
If penspinning is the hobby closest to my heart, mechanical keyboards is the hobby most closest to me wanting to spiral out of control. This hobby instilled something truly horrible in me where I had to spend nights thinking about my spacebar's stabiliser. It was just not a good match for me, but it was very addictive and satisfying regardless.
Anyways, I want this page to be a testament to why I daily an HHKB now. I'm not fully sure if I still want to keep it as a main category, so maybe one day it can go into the new 'others' category for the bloglist.
my hhkb snow!

My affinity for 40% keyboards
I didn't even have to think twice, honestly. I remember starting with a 75% feeling satisfied, but something was screaming inside me wanting to try something even smaller. There was not a single moment I regret typing on 40s.
The quest for a silent board
It's kind of strange how despite the appeal and plethora of silent switches, it can be so difficult to get them right. I think I've tried over a dozen while still feeling unsatisfied. Some were quiet but felt too squishy, while some felt nice but were really loud. I thought Silenced Topre would be the end for me until I tried other EC switches...
Why the HHKB became my endgame
I mean, I hated it at the beginning, and even now I think it's imperfect. Yet, this board is the longest one I've ever used, and every now and then, I'm reminded of how this rubber ended up changing my life.
